Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Into Guardrail Near Cotati
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, according to California Highway Patrol.
COTATI, CA — A motorcyclist died early Wednesday morning following a crash near Cotati, The Press Democrat reported.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 2:19 a.m. on Old Redwood Highway near Highland Avenue.
KPIX-TV reported that the biker lost control of the motorcycle while turning on a curve in the roadway, causing them to hit a guardrail and be ejected onto the dirt shoulder.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash still remains under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact the CHP’s Santa Rosa-area office at 707-588-1400.
