North Bay Cop Has A New Best Friend

NAPA, CA — A North Bay cop now has a new best friend.

Officer Meyer has been selected as the Napa Police Department’s new handler, and he is now partnered with K9 “Dex,” the agency wrote on its Facebook page.

Meyer replaces Dex’s outgoing handler, Officer Muratori, who was promoted to sergeant.

"Officer Meyer and Dex have already completed their training together and are out on the streets," the agency wrote on its Facebook page.

"Give them a wave when you see them!"
