North Bay Crash Leaves 78-Year-Old Man Critically Injured: Cops
Officers at around 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday responded to a report the collision on Soscol Avenue near Lincoln Avenue, police said.
NAPA, CA — A pedestrian was critically injured Tuesday night when he was struck by a vehicle, the Napa Police Department said.
The 78-year-old man was transported to a local hospital, police said.

The driver of the involved vehicle, a gray Toyota Sienna, remained on scene and provided her information to officers, police said.
All four lanes of Soscol Avenue between Carolina Street and Maplewood Drive were closed for the investigation, police said.

The NPD’s Accident Reconstruction Team was summoned to take over the investigation.
“The preliminary investigation indicates the pedestrian was crossing eastbound Soscol Ave and the Toyota was traveling northbound on Soscol Ave. Drugs and/or alcohol do not appear to be involved at this time,” police said in a statement.
The department is seeking additional witnesses, dash camera footage or surveillance video of the crash.
