Sheriff's Office Conducts Multi-Agency Training In Hessel Tuesday

Members of the Sonoma County community are asked to not call 911 if they see and hear a large presence of law enforcement, fire and EMS.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA β€” Community members in the Hessel area may see and hear law enforcement in the area Tuesday but should not be alarmed, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said.

There will be a large law enforcement, fire and paramedic presence for a training exercise that is expected to last three hours, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to the sheriff's office which is conducting the training with multiple agencies.

"Please do not call 911 if you see or hear Law Enforcement response in the area, this is training only," the sheriff's office said. "The goal is to provide Sonoma County's first responders with the most realistic muti-agency training possible, allowing every agency the ability to evaluate individual and departmental roles in events requiring a large response."
