U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson to make special appearance at Sonoma County trustee board meeting this afternoon to honor 100th year

SANTA ROSA, CA -- Today, U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson, D-St. Helena, will commemorate the centenarian mark for Santa Rosa Junior College by presenting the Sonoma County campus with a Congressional Record Statement, which serves as official documentation of proceedings and debates for the United States Congress.
Thompson will show up for the Sonoma County Junior College District Board of Trustees public meeting slated for 4 p.m. in the Lawrence A. Bertolini Student Center of the Santa Rosa campus at 1501 Mendocino Ave.
Despite the House congressman being known for close ties to his district, college officials view the presentation as exceptional recognition.
