2 Arrested In Armed Robbery Series At San Diego Massage Parlors
The suspects were arrested with help from the department's Automated License Plate Recognition system.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A man and a woman were arrested in connection with a series of armed robberies at massage parlors in San Diego, authorities said.
The robberies happened on Nov. 29 at Young Spa at 2509 El Cajon Blvd.; Dec. 3 at Sunny Spa at 4865 Convoy St.; and Dec. 5 at Harmony Spa at 4456 Vandever Ave., according to the San Diego Police Department.
"On each occasion the suspects entered a business and held up and demanded money from employees at gunpoint," police Lt. William Brown said. "After obtaining cash from employees, the suspects would flee the business."

The suspects were identified as Ian Forbes, 39, and Niki Lindemann, 42, according to police. Both suspects were arrested on Saturday with help from the department's Automated License Plate Recognition system that identified the vehicle used during the robberies. The vehicle and a firearm were seized during the arrest.
