Authorities have publicly identified two men who were killed last week in a solo car crash on a South Bay street.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Authorities have publicly identified two men who were killed last week in a solo car crash on a South Bay street.
Victor Arellano Bacallao, 46, and 33-year-old Robert Casillas died late Friday evening at the scene of the crash on D Avenue in National City, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
Casillas lost control of the northbound Kia sedan the men were traveling in shortly before 10:30 p.m., causing it overturn, roll side-over-side several times and strike two parked cars on the opposite side of the roadway, near East 16th Street.

Emergency crews pronounced the men dead "without medical intervention," the county agency reported.
