Mother’s Day was the second-biggest dining day of 2022, and the majority of reservations were booked five days in advance, according to OpenTable survey data. To get a table, reserve now — or at least by May 9, experts say.
The survey, conducted for OpenTable by the online research and data analysis group YouGov, found that 78 percent of U.S. adults plan to celebrate Mother’s Day with a meal out, and that they’ll spend the same or more than they have in previous years.
