Minor Fire Forces Temporary Closure Of Hillcrest Hamburger Eatery
The source of the blaze, which caused minimal damage, was not immediately clear.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A minor fire forced a temporary closure of a Hillcrest restaurant Wednesday.
The blaze at Five Guys, 670 University Ave., erupted at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
By the time emergency crews arrived, employees had extinguished the flames with a fire extinguisher, SDFRD Capt. Jason Shanley said.
