4 Adults, 1 Child Displaced In San Ysidro Attic Fire
The occupants escaped from the structure before fire crews arrived.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Four adults and a child were displaced Wednesday in a home's attic fire in San Ysidro, fire officials said.
At 5:55 a.m. Wednesday, fire crews saw light smoke coming from the attic in a home in the 1900 block of Valance Street upon arrival, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department online log.
The occupants escaped from the structure before fire crews arrived. Four adults and a child were assisted by the Red Cross.

The fire was estimated to be under control by 6:16 a.m.
