Apartment Fire In University City Draws San Diego Firefighter Response

UNIVERSITY CITY, CA — Crews were working on putting out a fire in an apartment building in San Diego Friday.

Crews were dispatched around 8:10 a.m. Friday and arrived shortly after to 5260 Fiore Terrace, near the intersection of Golden Haven Drive and Judicial Drive in the neighborhood of University City, according to San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

There were 36 personnel were assigned to the fire, including five engines, two trucks and one medic, officials said.

No injuries were immediately reported. Neither were any evacuations reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
