SAN DIEGO, CA — A very festive sternwheeler boat is cruising on Mission Bay and benefiting a special cause ahead of Christmas.

Jingle Belle Family Cruises takes place on the 100-foot-long William D. Evans sternwheeler. A portion of the event's proceeds benefits Mama's Kitchen, a San Diego nonprofit that provides meals to individuals and families vulnerable to malnutrition due to critical illness.

"The Jingle Belle Family Cruise has become a beloved San Diego holiday tradition, with the boat's three decks aglow in twinkling lights, festive décor, sweet holiday treats, and visits with Santa Claus — all while supporting Mama's Kitchen, a cause close to our hearts," said Robert Arends, media relations and community outreach manager for Evans Hotels, which owns Bahia Resort Hotel, Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa, and The Lodge at Torrey Pines.
