City Cruises Unveils Newly Renovated Admiral Hornblower
Following a multi-million dollar renovation, City Cruises unveiled the boat's transformation during a special cruise on San Diego Bay.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A newly renovated Admiral Hornblower is ready to set sail.
Following a multi-million dollar renovation, City Cruises unveiled the boat's stunning transformation during a special cruise Wednesday on San Diego Bay.
"This vessel was gutted to the studs," Chris Durrant, general manager for City Cruises, said prior to a celebratory toast. "There was nothing on this boat. Everything you see is brand new."

The Admiral Hornblower was built in 1984 with the original name of Lord Hornblower. The vessel has been completely reimagined with the latest renovation, from elegant marble bars and spacious salons to expansive open-air decks and vibrant dance floors.
Officials with City Cruises said every detail was curated to deliver unforgettable dining and sightseeing experiences for locals and tourists alike.

"Doesn't this look great?" said Len Wolin, president of City Experiences, which encompasses Hornblower Group's companies, including City Cruises. "Incredible, right? The changes that have happened."
The 151-foot-long yacht, which can accommodate up to 600 guests, offers a variety of San Diego cruises, including dining, brunch and cocktail cruises, plus private charters for events such as weddings and corporate functions.
The City Cruises Live series also brings live entertainment to the water. Upcoming events include celebrity chef Adrianne Calvo on Oct. 10 and country music star Lee Brice on Nov. 1. On Dec. 6, Bachelor Nation alums Chris Harrison, Wells Adams and Ben Higgins will come aboard the yaht to chat about life inside and outside the world of the reality TV franchise.
