Dia De Los Muertos Celebration Returning To Downtown Chula Vista
Third Avenue will be transformed into a vibrant tribute with music, art, food and traditions that honor loved ones who have passed.

CHULA VISTA, CA — A special Dia de los Muertos celebration is slated to return this weekend to Downtown Chula Vista.
This free, family-friendly event will feature art, interactive displays, a car show, contests, food and drink vendors, live music and more.
The fifth annual event will take place from 3-8 p.m. Saturday, when community members are invited to gather for an evening filled with culture, remembrance and community spirit. Third Avenue will be transformed into a vibrant tribute with music, art, food and traditions that honor loved ones who have passed.

Attendees are also encouraged to participate in the altar contest offering cash prizes, or the catrín/catrina ensemble competition, with categories for youth, adults and couples.
