Man Found Dead On SR-163 In Balboa Park
A man in his 60s was found dead on the left shoulder of northbound state Route 163.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A man in his 60s was found dead on the left shoulder of northbound state Route 163 in Balboa Park and was believed to be the victim of a hit-and-run, media reports said Wednesday.
The man was killed at 11 p.m. Tuesday after the California Highway Patrol received reports of a man walking on the freeway just south of Interstate 5, according to OnScene TV.
The northbound lanes of SR-163 were closed for an investigation. All traffic was being diverted to the I-5.
