Police Activity Shuts Down Traffic On I-5 In La Jolla Area
All northbound and southbound lanes in the area were closed, according to Caltrans.

LA JOLLA, CA — Police activity shut down traffic in both directions Thursday morning on Interstate 5 near La Jolla Village Drive in La Jolla, authorities said.
The incident was reported around 6:50 a.m. on northbound I-5 at La Jolla Village Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol's incident log.
All northbound and southbound lanes in the area were closed, according to Caltrans.

Northbound I-5 motorists were detoured to the Nobel Drive off-ramp, while southbound I-5 motorists were detoured to the La Jolla Village Drive off-ramp, Caltrans said. All lanes were reopened by 9:19 a.m.
