San Diego Fire: See Bernardo Fire Perimeter, Evacuation Areas

SAN DIEGO, CA — A wind-driven wildfire sparked Wednesday morning in the Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego, triggering evacuation orders and warnings.

The blaze, dubbed the Bernardo Fire, was reported shortly before 9 a.m. at Bernardo Center Drive and Camino del Norte, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

The San Diego Police Department issued evacuation orders and warnings for the surrounding areas.

Evacuation orders were issued for the following zones: SDC-1219, SDC-1220, SDC-1299. Evacuation warnings were issued for the following zones: SDC-1215, SDC-1217, SDC-1297. See an interactive map here.

As of 12:30 p.m., all evacuation orders and warnings were lifted except zone SDC-1220. By 3:15 p.m., all evacuation orders and warnings were lifted.
