SeaWorld To Honor Veterans With Free Admission, Fireworks And More Veterans Day Weekend

Active-duty military, veterans and their families with receive free admission and priority entrance during Veterans Day weekend.

SAN DIEGO, CA — SeaWorld San Diego is honoring veterans and their families with free admission and special events Veterans Day weekend, the theme park announced.

Veterans, active-duty military members and up to three family members can receive complimentary one-day admission through the company's Waves of Honor program, which salutes men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces with special pricing and promotions. Thanks to Navy Federal Credit Union, active-duty military and veterans visiting the park this weekend will also receive special benefits, including a priority entrance.

Throughout the weekend, SeaWorld will open each day with a flag ceremony and the national anthem. A "Field of Honor" with 1,000 American flags will be on display to represent local veterans and their families. Guests will also be able to dedicate a flag with a personal note to their hero. In addition, the park will recognize veterans and their service at the Orca Encounter presentation all weekend long.

The weekend will also include a nightly Veterans Day fireworks show presented by Navy Federal Credit Union. The show will take place 10 minutes prior to the park closing Saturday through Monday.

Active-duty military members and veterans can register for free single-day tickets for themselves and up to three dependents.
