SeaWorld San Diego To Host Memorial Day Weekend Celebration

In honor of Memorial Day, the theme park will hold a daily flag ceremony, military band performances, nightly fireworks salute and more.

SAN DIEGO, CA — SeaWorld San Diego is hosting a Memorial Day celebration all weekend long.

Beginning Friday, the theme park will hold a flag ceremony at 10 a.m. daily to honor fallen heroes of the U.S. Armed Forces. In honor of Memorial Day, the park will also feature live musical performances by the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band at Skytower Lawn stage.

From Saturday through Monday, SeaWorld will honor the military with a firework spectacular salute 10 minutes prior to the park's closure. Additionally, each dolphin and orca presentation at the park will feature a military recognition.

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, military veterans and up to three guests can get free admission to SeaWorld San Diego. Veterans can register for complimentary one-day admission through Monday to visit the theme park.

Active-duty military and their guests continue to enjoy one-day complimentary admission all year long. The offer is part of United Parks & Resorts' Waves of Honor program, which salutes active-duty military members, veterans and their families with special pricing and promotions throughout the year.

SeaWorld San Diego is also offering guests up to 50% off tickets, fun cards and passes during the park's Memorial Day sale through Monday.
