See Phantom Of The Opera In Concert For Free This Weekend In San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA — San Diegans can see The Phantom of the Opera in Concert for free this weekend at Balboa Park.

The Spreckels Organ Society will present the 45-minute concert version of the musical Saturday, with soprano Laynee Dell and tenor Cole Tornberg, as well as organ solos by San Diego Civic Organist Raul Prieto Ramirez.

The program, which is free and open to the public, will feature state-of-the-art spooky projections on the front of the Pavilion by SonderEyes. Concertgoers are encouraged to come dressed in costume and take a photo on stage with the artists after the concert.

The Spreckels Organ Pavilion is the largest open-air musical instrument in the world, according to the Spreckels Organ Society, a nonprofit organization that curates concerts and performances at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, located in the heart of Balboa Park. The organization also hosts weekly concerts at 2 p.m. every Sunday.

The Phantom of the Opera in Concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion at 2125 Pan American Road.
