Shaggy Bringing 'Mr. Symphonic​' Concert To San Diego​

The Grammy-winning artist will perform Friday at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Mr. Boombastic will turn "symphonic" for one night only Friday in San Diego.

Shaggy will take the stage at The Rady Shell for an orchestral concert that will blend his biggest hits with a homage to reggae's deep roots and global impact.

From the beginnings of reggae to modern dance hall, the Grammy-winning artist will present a survey of Jamaican popular music. Highlights of the evening will include Shaggy's hits "It Wasn't Me," "Angel," and "Mr. Boombastic," performed alongside his full band and the San Diego Symphony Orchestra led by conductor Steven Reineke.
