SigAlert: Overturned Semi-Truck Shuts Down Northbound I-15

SAN DIEGO, CA — A semi-truck overturned Monday on Interstate 15, prompting a SigAlert in the area.

The crash was reported shortly after noon on northbound I-15, south of Interstate 8 in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol's incident log.

Authorities initially closed the right three lanes but later shut down all northbound lanes, according to Caltrans. Traffic was being detoured to eastbound and westbound I-8.

The lanes were expected to be closed for roughly five hours, according to the CHP.
