Toys For Tots Donation Drive Returns To San Diego County Airports
All donations will be distributed to children in communities throughout the county.
SAN DIEGO, CA — The County of San Diego and the U.S. Marine Corps have teamed up to launch this year's Toys for Tots donation drive at local airports.
Residents are invited to help make the season bright for children across the county by dropping off new, unwrapped toys in a Toys for Tots donation box at one of five county airports.
Donation boxes are set up at McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, Gillespie Field in El Cajon, Fallbrook Airpark in Fallbrook, Ramona Airport in Ramona and Borrego Valley Airport in Borrego Springs. The boxes will remain open until 1 p.m. Dec. 13.

All donations will be distributed to children in communities throughout the county. Pilots are welcome to fly in to deliver their donations at the airports, according to organizers.
The Toys for Tots drive accepts new, unwrapped toys, including bikes, games, dolls, stuffed animals and other gifts.

Fallbrook Airpark and Ramona Airport will hold special Toys for Tots collection events in December. Uniformed Marines will be at those locations to greet donors and personally collect the gifts.
The first event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 6 at Ramona Airport. The second event is slated from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 13 at Fallbrook Airpark.
The five participating airports are:
- Borrego Valley Airport: 1820 Palm Canyon Drive, Borrego Springs
- Fallbrook Airpark: 2155 South Mission Road, Fallbrook
- Gillespie Field: 1960 Joe Crosson Drive, El Cajon
- McClellan Palomar Airport: 2192 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad
- Ramona Airport: 2450 Montecito Road, Ramona
