SAN DIEGO, CA — It's that time of year when space invaders and superheroes converge on San Diego, and you know what that means: traffic.

The San Diego Police Department is warning drivers to get ready for Comic-Con road closures along Harbor Drive in front of the San Diego Convention Center, starting Wednesday and lasting through Sunday. Comuters are advised to find alternate routes around the convention center and Gaslamp area, and Comic-Con goers are advised to plan for delays.

"The most epic event of the year is almost here! To ensure a smooth and safe experience for all, we want to share the details of road closures around the San Diego Convention Center and Gaslamp area during Comic-Con," the San Diego Police Department announced in a written statement.
