Wind Advisory Issued For Parts Of San Diego County

SAN DIEGO, CA — Gusty winds are expected Monday in parts of San Diego County.

A wind advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. to midnight in the deserts, including the community of Borrego Springs, according to the National Weather Service. West winds are expected between 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects," the NWS warned. "Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result."
