'Not The Equal Of It Anywhere On Earth': Photo Of The Day
Patch loves photos! Share your photos with your local Patch, and your work could be featured.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Patch reader Ingrid Hirashima sent in this beautiful image of the iconic Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, first constructed for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 and reconstructed from 1964 to 1974.
Still as magnificent as ever, we agree with Thomas Edison who proclaimed: "The architect of that building is a genius....there is not the equal of it anywhere on earth."
Thanks so much for sharing, Ingrid!
