San Francisco Man Suffers Life-Threatening Leg Injuries When Pinned Between Cars

The victim, a 50-year-old man, was walking when the driver of a sedan somehow lost control.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was hit by a car and pinned between two vehicles in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Thursday morning, according to police.

Around 10 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Santos Street for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian. The victim, a 50-year-old man, was walking when the driver of a sedan somehow lost control of his vehicle and struck the victim, police said.

The victim suffered serious injuries to his leg and was taken to a hospital, according to police. The driver, a 36-year-old man, stayed at the scene and was not arrested, police said.
