NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should expect hazardous beach conditions through Monday night. A beach hazards statement will be in effect for all Pacific Coast beaches through 11 p.m. due to sneaker waves and stronger-than-usual currents, according to the National Weather Service.
"Light rain early today should taper off by mid-morning with lingering clouds and cooler temperatures," NWS San Francisco forecasters wrote Monday. "Hazardous beach conditions persist through late tonight. Warmer temperatures with minor heat risk return Tuesday for the remainder of the work week."

In other news, one person died and three others were injured in an East Bay apartment complex fire; a toddler was fatally struck by a tractor in the North Bay; and seven people were displaced by a fourplex fire in the South Bay.
Also, protesters in Livermore and San Francisco joined the nationwide "Hands Off!" protests to condemn President Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

The blaze early Sunday morning displaced all residents of a 30-unit building.
