Treasure Island Building Catches Fire

A fire broke out on Treasure Island over the weekend.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — No one was injured when a fire broke out in an abandoned three-story building on San Francisco's Treasure Island on Sunday.

Firefighters responded to the blaze on Avenue H and Fourth Street at about 8 a.m.

A total of 16 units were sent from San Francisco Fire Department Station 48 to the one alarm fire.

The flames were brought under control and extinguished in about 45 minutes, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.

The cause is under investigation.
