Wind-Driven Debris Injures 2 San Francisco Pedestrians

Officials said the incident happened in the area of 23rd Street and San Jose Avenue.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Two pedestrians were injured Sunday in San Francisco after they were struck by wind-driven debris. Officials said the incident happened in the area of 23rd Street and San Jose Avenue around 3 p.m.

The pedestrians were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.

NBC reported the incident happened near a construction site.
