Fairfax Readies To Celebrate Earth Day
The town is holding an Earth Day Celebration with live music and dancing and a separate library event Saturday afternoon.
FAIRFAX, CA — The town of Fairfax is readying to commemorate Earth Day.
The town is holding an Earth Day Celebration with live music and dancing and a separate library event Saturday afternoon.
The Earth Day Celebration will be held Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. at Bolinas Park.

The event will also feature a live musical performance from the band “Mother Nature’s Children,” a blessing with Miwok elder Lucina Vidauri, lessons in nature by wise man Nick Nutzu, and presentations from the “Lorax Project” by Archie Williams High School students.
An event at the Fairfax library will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. that will be attended by representatives from Age Friendly Fairfax, Fairfax Climate Action Committee and Fairfax Open Space Committee.
