Marin’s Sweetwater Readies For Free Annual Holiday Show

MILL VALLEY, CA – Mill Valley’s Sweetwater Music Hall is readying for a free annual holiday event.

Sweetwater will host the Matt Jaffe Annual Holiday Show Thursday at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.).

The event is open to those of all ages.

Jaffe grew up in Mill Valley and was discovered by Talking Heads guitarist Jerry Harrison, who helped launch Jaffe’s career.

Jaffe was 16 when he and Harrison co-produced his first album.

In 2013, Jaffe dropped out of Yale to pursue his musical career.

“Inspired by the great lineage of rock n’ roll, (Jaffe) marries literary lyrics with the undeniable urge to dance,” according to his bio page.

Sweetwater, located at 19 Corte Madera Avenue, is one of the North Bay’s most popular venues.
