New Marin School Readies To Rock

MARIN COUNTY,CA — America’s largest music school franchise is readying to open a new Marin location.

School of Rock San Rafael will hold a grand opening Sunday afternoon.

The ceremony is scheduled to be held from noon to 4 p.m. at 4150 Redwood Highway, the site of the new music program.

School of Rock operates over 290 locations in 15 countries.

The program aims to provides students of all ages an engaging learning environment, according to the company’s website.

The San Rafael location is owned by Heather Riley, a former School of Rock student who helped launch the company’s Santa Rosa location in 2019.

“There is nothing more important than taking care of others in your community and being able to do so through the medium of music is unbeatable,” Riley said in a statement.

“I saw firsthand the transformations that take place for students at School of Rock. This is a passion-based business and an extraordinary opportunity to bring people together through music, and I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to open a School of Rock in Marin County.”
