San Anselmo Library Readies To Celebrate 'Día'
San Anselmo's "Día" (also known as "Día del Niño") celebration will be held this weekend.
SAN ANSELMO, CA — The San Anselmo Public Library will hold a will hold an event later this week commemorating the 25th anniversary of a day that commemorates childhood literacy, diversity and inclusion.
San Anselmo’s “Día” (also known as “Día del Niño”) celebration will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the town’s Library Lawn.
The event will feature musical storytelling performed by Cascada de Flores along with dance and music.

"Día" is a "nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for all children from all backgrounds," according to a website dedicated to commemorating the event.
