Today is 7-11 (2011, in case you were confused) and, in celebration, 7-11 stores across the country are handing out free Slurpees.
Both Fairfax 7-11 stores -- on and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard -- are participating, so stop by and get your free giant frozen drink before 11 p.m.
The drinks are handed out while supplies last; five million drinks will be handed out nationwide. And, if you just can't get enough of the 7-11 "birthday" party, this San Francisco store will be hosting a brainfreeze contest and party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
