Police Log: Car and Home Break-Ins; Elder Abuse Reported

Monday

4:18 a.m. The coroner's office was called to respond to a report of a dead person.

Tuesday

8:08 p.m. A white Volkswagen Jetta was broken into on the 1200 block of El Camino Real. The rear passenger side window was smashed and a laptop was stolen, police said.

8:35 p.m. Police and fire personnel responded to a report of a transformer sparking and downed wires near Elston Drive and Fasman Drive.

9:33 p.m. A resident, who had been suffering for a while from an illness, died at home on the 100 block of Riviera Court.

Wednesday

10:26 a.m. Police received a call about a vehicle that was stolen some time between 3 and 8:30 a.m. on the 600 block of Walnut Street.

12:54 p.m. Police responded to a report of elder abuse on the 2100 block of Crestmoor Drive. 

12:58 p.m. A home was broken into on the 2200 block of Rollingwood Drive.

7:45 p.m. A 1993 black Honda Accord was stolen on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.
