2 Families Displaced After San Leandro House Fire

The fire department shared helmet camera footage showing fire crews battling intense flames Friday.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Alameda County firefighters worked fast Friday to battle a blaze ripping through a home on Fleming Street in San Leandro.

According to the Alameda County Fire Department, fire crews overcame several challenges and multiple exposure points and extinguished the fire within 45 minutes with no serious injuries.

The fire department shared footage from a firefighter's helmet camera showing crews battling large flames. Fire officials said one person suffered smoke inhalation and was treated at the hospital, and two families were displaced.
