4 Robbery Suspects Arrested After Pursuit
Police said the suspects held five victims at gunpoint and pistol-whipped at least one of them.
OAKLAND, CA — Four suspects in multiple robberies were arrested after a pursuit through Oakland on Wednesday morning, police said today.
The robbery was reported just after 8 a.m. in the 300 block of Santa Clara Avenue near Jean Street, a few blocks from Grand Avenue, police said. The suspects held five victims at gunpoint and pistol-whipped at
least one of them while stealing their cellphones and other property, according to police.
A witness provided police with a description of the suspects' vehicle and police spotted it a short time later. The suspects fled, and police pursued the car to Fruitvale Avenue and East 10th Street, where they
forced the car off the road, police said.

All four suspects were arrested and police found a gun. Police said they were connected to multiple robberies that injured several victims in the process, but did not immediately clarify which robberies. The suspects' names have not been released as of this morning.
