Academy Openings For Community Emergency Response Team

The free Alameda County Fire Department training academy in San Leandro will be held in late May and early June.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — The Alameda County Fire Department will hold a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training academy in San Leandro May 29, 31, and June 7.

Participants must attend all three sessions, involving 20 hours of training.

Classroom instruction and hands-on training will be included.

At the end of the training, will you be ready to help your neighborhood with emergency preparedness, light search-and-rescue, disaster medical operations, and fire safety & utility controls.
