Avoid Merced Between Marina & Fairway Until Roadwork Done

Merced Street between Marina Boulevard and Fairway Drive is a mess just now.

Paving crews are upgrading the street for the new Kaiser Medical Center. 

It took about 10 minutes to go through that one block stretch as pavers worked on one side of Merced while redirecting traffic down the other side.

If only the rest of San Leandro were so neatly paved. How are the streets in your neighborhood?
