Christmas Amaryllis Blooms For the Month Of Love: Photo Of The Day
The full bloom is a tad bit late for Valentine's Day, but the color is perfect for February.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — How many gardeners spent Saturday getting dirt under their fingernails?
Our beautiful weather was perfect for gardening, and San Leandro's Miyo Burnett is taking full advantage of this February warm spell. By Thursday, she had 'Utah Tall' Celery starts, Poppy Seeds on paper mache' from the POMO Native American Land in Mendocino, Grape Hyacinth bulbs, Snap Pea starts, Chives in pots, a gifted Rose Geranium, and succulents ready to go. Impressive!
