Fieldwork Brewing Coming To San Leandro

The Berkeley-based craft brewer plans to expand to San Leandro.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Work is underway on a new Fieldwork Brewing beer garden in San Leandro. The Berkeley-based craft brewer hopes to open sometime late this spring.

In an Instagram post, Fieldwork said, "The crew is working hard to get the space ready for us to build you a 7,500 sq ft Taproom and Beer Garden!"

The old Firestone service center at 1495 East 14th Street is being transformed.

To give you an idea of what to expect, the Berkeley Taproom currently has almost 30 beers on tap with Belgian, hoppy, sour and other categories to sample, plus hard seltzer, wine and non-alcoholic choices. Food will also be served.

Fieldwork Brewing already has locations in Berkeley, San Ramon, San Mateo, Napa, Corte Madera, Monterey and Sacramento.
