Fire Destroys RV In San Leandro

The fire department reports that one person was inside when it erupted in flames. The fire also threatened an adjacent home.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A full size recreational vehicle was destroyed by fire in San Leandro last Wednesday.

One person was inside when flames erupted but was able to escape. That person and firefighters were not injured.

The Alameda County Fire Department reports that the fire was in the 14000 block of Sylvia Ave. Firefighters were able to douse the flames before they could spread to the primary residence.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
