Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

Gabriel has had a passion for sports since he could say his first word, "ball". On and off the court he is a leader and a role model. He maintains good grades, is known for helping his teachers and peers. Gabriel is kind to everyone he meets and strives for excellence in all that he does. Even when the score doesn't always go his direction, Gabriel can be heard telling players on the other team positive comments and takes time to get to know the umpires, coaches and referees.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

That he will always reflect on his past performances to ensure that he has what it takes going into the future.
