Hayward Police Seeking Public's Help in Finding Missing 64-Year-Old Woman

HAYWARD — Hayward police are asking for the public's help in locating a 64-year-old woman who left an adult independent living facility on Tuesday morning.

Police said Jeanette Tsang has left the facility before but she never had been gone for more than 24 hours.

Tsang was walking with other residents to a local church on Tuesday morning but left the group and proceeded to an unknown destination, police said.

Tsang is not reported to have any diminished mental capacity or any serious health conditions, according to police.

Officials at the independent living facility told police that Tsang has taken BART to Oakland in the past and was seen in Oakland Thursday afternoon but wasn't returned to the facility.

Hayward police said anyone with information about Tsang's whereabouts should call them at (510) 293-7000 or notify their local law enforcement agency.
