Injured Coyote Captured In San Leandro

The animal was taken to a wildlife hospital for treatment.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — An injured coyote that had been spotted around the Manor neighborhood of San Leandro was safely captured Wednesday afternoon and transported to Lindsey Wildlife Hospital and Museum in Walnut Creek for treatment.

A resident phoned the San Leandro Police Department that afternoon to report the animal was on their front porch.

Animal Control was sent to the home, where the injured coyote was loaded into their vehicle and transported to Lindsay.
