Man Who Died from Gunshot Wounds Last Week Identified
The 60-year-old construction worker was shot while in East Oakland on June 10.
Oakland, CA— A man who died last week from gunshot wounds he suffered when he was shot near his home in East Oakland on June 10 has been identified by police as 60-year-old construction worker Brian Saling.
Police said Saling was shot in the 3700 block of Patterson Avenue in Oakland's Laurel district at about 2 a.m. on June 10.
He was taken to Highland Hospital in Oakland to be treated for his wounds but died there on June 14.
