SAN LEANDRO, CA — Miyo Burnett received the ultimate gift for a gardener — a beautiful plant. In this case, marjoram. It looks lovely freshly transplanted into a clay pot!

In addition to cooking, some people grow marjoram for medicinal purposes including for the treatment of cold symptoms and digestive issues. But, WebMD warns that there are no studies to support these claims.
