Motorcyclist Fatally Struck By Train In San Leandro

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A motorcyclist was struck and killed by a train over the weekend in San Leandro, authorities said.

The fatal collision happened at 1:55 p.m. Sunday near Springlake Drive and Hesperian Boulevard, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Another person was injured in the collision.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
