FREMONT, CA — A 47-year-old, convicted sex offender from Fremont was charged with several sex-related, felony crimes and alleged battery of a peace officer following his arrest last month at a local business, according to authorities.

Police responded June 10 to a call of a "naked male soliciting customers and employees to participate in sexual acts" at a company near Grimmer and Fremont boulevards, the Fremont Police Department said.

The suspect, Lloyd Gant, an unhoused Fremont resident with a previous conviction for indecent exposure, also "ordered the same customer to perform a sexual act on him," police said.
